Cleancenter is a software program to clean the junk files from the system. It can clean 60 different types of junk files identified as junk in general use. It has a simple uncluttered interface and supports click and execute actions. User clicks on scan and prompted with the list of junk files. There is a provision to unselect the files and the space regained by deleting these files. This facility of knowing the disk space regained is helpful if Cleancenter is being run to provide more space required for an application installation. User can use discretion to release only the required space by unselecting only the required number of file.
Paths and filters can be set to tune the settings of the scan. Cleancenter is localized for 32 different languages providing support and usage for people from non English speaking countries. Support for different languages is provided through language skin that has to be downloaded separately and placed in the Cleancenter software directory created for language support named language.
There is a demo version available with 7 day trial. Instructions are given out to handle Vista related issues and Firewall related issues. These instructions may not be termed user friendly by a user with average computer knowledge o understand technical troubleshooting steps.
